You can use different types of paper for printing your documents

Colours

Coloured paper is available in 80 grams or 160 grams and in A4 and A3 format. You can also order paper by the pack. 2-hole, 4-hole and 23-hole and other kinds of paper can be ordered in request. For prices and information on all other kinds of paper, please contact our Copy & Print Shops, who will be pleased to advise you.  
Standard colours available are:

Type of paper

There are different types of paper available for you to print your document. The standard types of paper used within Leiden University are indicated below. There are, of course, many other types of paper available. For more information about paper, please contact one of the Copy and Print shops.

Type of paper Description
Image Standard white paper for standard print work. Image is also the paper used in the printers located throughout the University.
Biotop Off-white, light cream-coloured paper which is used in some house styles or special products.
University paper Off-white, light cream-coloured paper which is used for University house style (such as letters and memos) with the University logo printed in the top right-hand corner.
4CC Glossy paper which is mainly used for colour prints or more luxurious finishes. 4CC is available with different types of tints and glosses.
